Sean Jamieson

Sean Jamieson: 2011 MLB Draft 17th Round selection of the Oakland Athletics.

"Jeff has provided me with a great experience in baseball. Not only is he a great coach who is knowledgeable about the game but he will work his hardest to provide you with the opportunity to succeed. He is always very approachable and willing to commit to your success. I would highly recommended this program for any players who want to take their game to the next level."

Facilities

Badger’s Facilities

The Badlands Baseball Academy utilizes three facilities:

1. The Academy Building – The Academy Building is located at 111 Railway Avenue West and houses the administration component.  In November 2010, office, computer equipment and furniture were purchased to start up the Academy.  General Manager and Coach offices are in this building.  The public as well as prospective students and families will initially meet Academy staff in this building.

2. Training Center – The “Field House”, located 5 miles East of Oyen Co-Op and 1 mile South  is the latest addition to the Badgers training facilities. The existing building is 15, 000 sq. feet.  The Field House boasts 3 full-length hitting cages and 2 pitching mounds.  The floor has been newly lined with artificial field turf that includes a Tee and Soft Toss area.  The facility has been optimized for all-season training and can accommodate a full-length throwing off-season program.

3. Baseball Park – The Badlands Baseball Academy has donated $8,000.00 to the Town of Oyen for upgrades.  The ballpark has been updated with a new sprinkler system and grass playing surface, September 2010 at a total cost of $32, 000.00.
